Bikalpa Art Center is pleased to present Random Reveries, a group exhibition by three contemporary women artists — Bidhata KC, Kurchi Dasgupta and Pramila Bajracharya. Please join us on Thursday, August 01, 5 p.m. onwards, for the exhibition opening and to meet the artists. Random Reveries brings together the works of three women artists in Nepal with divergent art practices. While Bidhata KC is well known for her forays into nature, Kurchi Dasgupta’s preoccupation is with urbanization and women’s issues while Pramila Bajracharya concerns herself with feminine figures and urban landscapes.The coming together of Bidhata and Kurchi from Kathmandu Quartet and Pramila from Kasthamandap Group is an exciting event and Random Reveries promises to be a very interesting show tackling a cross section of issues and styles. Bikalpa Art Center is happy to bring these three artists together and showcase them while living up to its goal of being a thinking, aware platform for various art forms in Nepal.
