A warm greeting to all of our supporters, artists and friends who have supported us to make happen a lot in 2014 and we expect your continue love and strengthen if future. We have a lot to offer, let us bring more with the beginning of the New-year.
However, in the mean time, we have a great live performance to offer before we say goodbye to 2014. NOMADTON, THE SOUTH ASIAN PASS by a group of very contemporary experimental musicians and sound artists from Switzerland.
Nomadton is Sven Bösiger, Jaw Harp, Rectronics and Patrick Kessler, Amplified Double Bass. The name reveals the program and the inner concept of how the music is created: Characteristics of nomadism also describe NOMADTON - getting with just the essential equipment to fully evolved music. At times repetitive, then straight on, crossing into new territories, but also quietly assessing situations with the suiting sounds in the backpack, the eyes on the horizon. Double bass and jaw harp are two traditional musical instruments in the alpine region. The small jaw harp might even be seen as a asian-european bridge. Primordial sounds coming from wood and metal raise expectations for deep roots, but NOMADTON clearly point to contemporary ways of listening. Minimal, cyclic music consolidates into an elec-trifying cosmos.
